Privacy statement

OECTA respects your privacy and continuously works to protect it. Protecting your privacy means we keep your information and the business you do with us in strict confidence. We will never sell your personal information to others, and we do not divulge information to unauthorized agencies or persons. OECTA takes all reasonable steps to develop and maintain security measures to meet industry standards.

Using your personal information

OECTA uses your information to serve you in the following ways:

  • Provide information about OECTA programs, courses and services that meet your needs;
  • Collect personal information in online surveys to help OECTA improve services that meet your needs.

Accessing and updating your personal information

The accuracy of your personal information is important. Please login and update your profile in the Members' Centre regularly. If you advise us that information in your profile is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete, it is our policy to correct this information.

Log out to protect your privacy

Log out and exit from your browser when you have finished your session in the secure Members' Centre. This will sign you out and ensure others cannot access your personal information or browser/correspondence history while you are away from your computer. This is particularly important if your computer is accessible to others, if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place such as a school staff room, library or public Internet café.
